RESTORATIVE FORUM CONSTANCE 2008 3-day training courses on the latest DENTSPLY restorative products Each Forum is dedicated to a small group of experts in restorative dentistry who are very important to DENTSPLY and who have a special interest in direct adhesive restorations. The objective of the Restorative Forums is to inform on a high scientific and clinical level about the most important and latest DENTSPLY chairside products, with emphasis on restorative dentistry. Clinical application will be trained in-house and at a Dental School nearby. Thus, you will take away new skills as well as new knowledge, which will enable you to lecture and teach about new products. You will benefit from first-hand information presented by our dental materials specialists and research chemists. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions which will be answered by the product developers personally. A visit to a Dental School will round off the scientific sessions; it will give an insight into the dental training system in Germany and demonstrate how your colleagues ensure continuous education. Furthermore, you will gain an insight into the dental industry and the working condition of its employees. For you, the Restorative Forum is a platform to present your ideas and demands as it is for us an ideal opportunity to learn from you about your specific needs and ideas.
The Restorative Forums are held in Konstanz, the picturesque town on the shores of Lake Constance in the South of Germany, where the DETREY division of DENTSPLY is based. During your stay with us, you will also enjoy the largest town on Lake Constance and the many attractions of the region. Depending on the country of origin, multipleentry visas for Germany and Switzerland may be needed and early submission of visa application is mandatory. Accommodation will be offered at an internationally renowned 5-star hotel, equipped with all modern amenities. As a former Dominican monastery and place of birth of Count Zeppelin, it has an atmosphere unique of its kind. Unless otherwise stated, the following dress codes are recommended: For passive external guests, the recommended dress code is business casual during the entire programme. For speakers, the recommended dress code is business dress during the lectures. For all other parts of the programme, business casual is the recommended attire. EXCELLENCE IN ADHESIVE & AESTHETIC DENTISTRY GENEVA 2008 A 1-day Train the Trainer course on direct adhesive procedures with Dr. Didier Dietschi in his private clinic in Geneva. This course is an ideal extension of the training courses by our sister division Maillefer in Ballaigues. Of course, the seminar can also be booked independent from participation in the Maillefer courses. The objective is to give you an update on latest scientific knowledge and the most advanced procedures in adhesive dentistry. Your benefit: You can immediately incorporate the learnings in your daily practice and teaching activities and thus offer your patients (and students) the very best of modern operative aesthetic dentistry. Since the seminars are organised for a limited group of experts in endodontics and/or restorative dentistry, interaction between the participants will add to the high standard and fruitful exchange of knowledge. Didier Dietschi offers a unique combination of clinical expertise and scientific knowledge. He received his DMD degree in Geneva, where he is a senior lecturer in the department of Operative Dentistry. He earned his PhD degree in Biomaterials Science at ACTA and is an adjunct professor at CASE Western University, Cleveland. His private office in Geneva is dedicated to the treatment of the most sophisticated patients with aesthetic restorative procedures. He is a widely published author and an internationally acclaimed speaker.
The venue - the Geneva Smile Center located at the lakefront in the city center - offers state-of-theart working places, insuring a comfortable working environment. Each working place provides all necessary instruments inclusive of operation microscopes. In addition to large projection, video screens allow each participant to closely follow the lectures or live demonstrations. The night prior to the Train the Trainer course, accommodation is offered in a comfortable hotel situated in walking distance to the venue.
