LOOK NO FURTHER DELCASTLE GOLF CLUB & RESTAURANT Check out the website for the menu: www.delcastlegc.com President s Message PRESIDENT MESSAGE For most of us the 2016-2017 ski season is over. Planning for 2017-2018 ski trips is underway. We have several good trips for next year, details to follow soon. Now it is time to think about summer activities. I think of the ski club sort of like Colorado: you come for skiing and stay for the summer. There are some home happy hours every month this summer and they are very popular. We will have Hobie Day again this year in Rehoboth. It was well attended last summer. It is very laid back and you don t even have to go out on a boat if you prefer not to. We will have some cultural activities. Various members have organized activities they are interested in. I want to especially recognize Sue Gargel for being very active in conducting several activities and Marie Maks who has coordinated some activities at Winterthur. Again this year we will have outdoor summer monthly meeting on the second Wednesday in June, July and August. The June meeting is our last meeting for our 2016 2017 year. We elect club officers at the June meeting for our 2017-2018 season. As a bribe to come out and vote, we will have our annual ski club cookout. The July meeting will preview our upcoming ski trips. An incentive to join this meeting is our wine tasting contest. Then our Au- M A Y 2 0 1 7 gust meeting will be the presentations of the upcoming ski trips by the Trip Leader and Co-Trip Leader. They will present the details of the trips to include price, travel arrangements, lodging and side trips. If anyone would like to add a summer activity, please see me. We are always looking for new ideas and activities to add to the WSC calendar! Think Warm!
