As in previous years, MASP, like its parent body, the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) aims to bring together doctors from different disciplines, allied health professionals and scientists who are interested in various aspects of pain management and re search. The theme for this year s meeting is Challenging the Elusive Pain Syndromes I hope that clinicians from different parts of the country and in different disciplines will join us at our scientific meeting. It will give you an opportunity to update your knowledge and interact with experts in the field of pain medicine. In addition it will be an opportunity to renew friendships or forge and make new ones. The scientific committee has tried to put together a program that is interesting and clinically relevant to your practice. Poster Presentations 15th-16th April MASP invites participants for poster presentations of original work. Biennial Scientific Meeting Instructions for Poster Presentation 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Presentations in Poster Sessions will be numbered as listed in the programme. Posters must be mounted on the assigned board. The poster board area is 1.0 metre (width) and 1.5 metre (height) The top of the poster must have a label indicating its title and authors All illustrations should be prepared beforehand. Your illustrations should be readable from a distance of about 1 metre. Keep illustrations simple. Posters must not be mounted on heavy board because they may be difficult to keep in position on the poster stands. Posters must be dismounted within the stipulated period. The organizing committee will not be responsible for posters which have not been dismounted during the stipulated time. It will consist of lecture / live video demonstration of block performed by experts. Hands-on session will include scanning on models and visualization of needle tip by ultrasound.
