Wine and spirits are also consumed, but to a lesser extent. Recorded adult per capita consumption is around 11.8 litres of pure alcohol and has remained stable in recent years according to recent trends. Some unrecorded alcohol production is also seen in the country, adding around 1.0 litre to recorded adult per capita consumption. Total adult per capita consumption of pure alcohol is around 12.8 litres in Germany.
