President Act as the official custodian of the PMI-KC Corporate Charter Maintain relationship to PMI International Assure all elected positions are filled by willing and capable personnel Continuously solicit volunteers for assistance to all board members Assist all board members to formulate coordinated goals by position Facilitate the planning and understanding of the long term direction of PMI-KC Understand the long term direction of PMI Call and preside over all Board Meetings and Special Meetings Maintain incorporated status by annual reporting to government agencies Maintain Bylaws Maintain Standing Rules
Volunteer Committee Responsible for recruiting, and managing chapter volunteers to best fill positions required to achieve all chapter goals and provide value to our chapter members and community. This is accomplished by: Placing the interested volunteers and fill the open positions, utilizing website, social media, newsletters, and events as avenues of communication. Identifying candidates for succession planning of board and key positions. Facilitating the Volunteer of the Month program. Identifying Community Outreach opportunities and providing pro-bono Project Management skills for community non-profit organizations. Planning and facilitating the annual recognition event for all chapter volunteers.

Some dinner meeting responsibilities entail: Selecting the venue Securing the speaker Creating marketing / registration announcements Coordinating the Chapter general information slide presentation Owning the agenda and ensuring the meeting runs on time From time to time, we provide member educational, fun, and networking opportunities for off-dinner meeting months.
