MPI-CAC Sponsorship Types of Sponsorships Two primary types of sponsorships are available when considering a partnership with the chapter, in-kind (donation of goods and services) and cash sponsorships. Cash Sponsorship Cash sponsorships are an invaluable way to provide and partner in the programming needs and requirements of one or a few committees and/or chapter events. Cash sponsorships are valued at 100% of the donated value and benefit kits are sent out upon receipt and countersignature of the client signed Sponsorship Agreement. In-Kind Sponsorship Chapter events rely upon the time and talent of both our committee members and suppliers that produce and/or provide goods and services for the chapter. The following are examples of In-Kind Sponsorship items: Level Value Cash or In-Kind Legacy Sponsor $50,000 and up Diamond Sponsor $25,000 - $49,999 Platinum Sponsor $15,000 - $24,999 Gold Sponsor $10,000 - $14,000 Silver Sponsor $5,000 - $9,999 Bronze Sponsor $2,500 - $4,999 Friend of the Chapter $500 - $2,499 Venue Location Audio Visual Linen Graphic Design Food & Beverage Catering Décor Floral Arrangements Ground Transportation Meeting Supplies Printing Signage Speaker Entertainment Rental Equipment Policy for In-Kind Sponsorship Donations The chapter will give 100% sponsorship credit for the retail value of the in-kind donation if the sponsorship is provided in full (no money required from the chapter, unless otherwise pre-negotiated). Should the in-kind donation not be a 100% donation, but instead a percentage of the total retail value, the chapter will give in-kind credit on a sliding scale to the donating sponsor. There are occasions where we have more than one supplier of the same type of in-kind service looking to provide or sponsor an event. To ensure that we are fairly assessing all sponsors equally, we request that our committees secure a minimum of three RFD s and/or bids for all goods and services and will select the most competitive proposal. Step 3 for Cash Sponsors The Committee Chair(s) will contact you to discuss your sponsorship. We would like to provide the highest ROI possible to all of our sponsors by ensuring the benefits that they will receive will be valuable year long. Sponsorship benefits can be customized with approval by the Director of Sponsorship. 21
MPI-CAC Sponsorship Interested in Sponsorship? Step 4 Upon acceptance of your Cash or In-kind Sponsorship. In-Kind Sponsors A Sponsorship Commitment Agreement will be sent for review and authorized signature. A Sponsorship Commitment Agreement will be sent to your attention documenting the description of the donation you have agreed to provide to the chapter, the benefits the chapter has agreed to provide to you, the date(s) it will be provided, and the agreed upon dollar value that will be recognized. You will have seven business days to complete and mail, or scan and e-mail back the form to the chapter office unless otherwise agreed upon by the Director of Sponsorship. Cash Sponsors A Sponsorship Commitment Agreement will be sent for review, authorized signature and payment. A Sponsorship Commitment Agreement will be sent to your attention documenting the description of the donation you have agreed to provide to the chapter, the benefits the chapter has agreed to provide to you, the date(s) it will be provided, and the agreed upon dollar value that will be recognized. You will have seven business days to complete and mail, or scan and e-mail back the form to the chapter office unless otherwise agreed upon by the Director of Sponsorship. Step 5 Wait for Your Sponsorship Kit to Arrive. A Sponsor Kit will arrive via email within 30 days of the Chapter Management Office receiving your Sponsorship Commitment Agreement. Included in the kit will be website artwork specifications and deadlines, instructions for utilizing the complimentary registrations for chapter events and necessary information for fulfilling all of your additional benefits. Step 6 Enjoy Your Benefits. To achieve the greatest ROI from your sponsorship with MPI-CAC, take advantage of all of the benefits offered.
