Dads Count Families Matter! A Project of the LAMP Family Services Our Mission To provide the tools and kinship to dads at every point on the parenting journey that help increase the effectiveness and fun of the all-important family unit. We will endeavor to do this with the help of corporate and community partners within a frame of openness, respect and fun by: giving dads an opportunity to connect with other dads (responding to issues of isolation many fathers comment on), allowing dads to learn pertinent information about parenting, raising the awareness of fathers and fathering issues in the local communities building community support and partnerships, both in the private and public sectors and through developing a volunteer base. 2010 Event June 5, 2010 Ken Cox Community Centre 9:30 3:00 This year will include keynote presentations and workshop.
