Thank you for your generous support as we work to build high-quality services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in El Paso! VISIONSTATEMENT The Arc of El Paso envisions a society and culture that values and supports individuals with different abilities to pursue full and productive lives. MISSIONSTATEMENT The Arc of El Paso, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, is committed to providing high-quality, caring, efficient home and community-based services to individuals with I/DD their families and caregivers. For information, contact Cecilia Navarro Tanner at (915) 564-4978 or ceci.navarro@thearcofelpaso.org

Summer, fall 2017 Dear Community Friend & Supporter, From the bottom of our heart, thank you for your consideration. Your generous contribution to The Arc of El Paso will allow us to continue to grow and expand the vital programs that benefit the many members of our community that are differently gifted and abled. The Arc is the largest nationwide, community based charitable organization serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Since 1950, the Arc has advocated for individuals with I/DD, and helped to pass the law that guarantees a public education for children with disabilities. There are over 140,000 members and 700 state and local chapters, including our local chapter. The Arc of El Paso is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a committed board of directors and a general membership of El Paso families. The Arc of El Paso is run by family members of children with I/DD along with other professionals who are motivated by the vision of an inclusive community and a more compassionate future for El Pasoans who are differently abled. Each year, we organize a Walk/Run for Respect as our main annual fundraiser. This year, one of our main annual sponsors, Guerra Investment Advisors, has issued a gifting challenge to other potential sponsors. They have offered to match any donation up to $5,000. Our financial goal this year is to raise at least $50,000 to continue operations, which include a highly regarded educational and training program, designed to heighten respect for individuals with I/DD, increase public awareness and foster best practices. We will organize a minimum of six (6) professional trainings for the IDD Community. Will you match the Guerra Challenge and become one of our main sponsors? Or can we count on you for other sponsorship opportunities? See enclosed information. Thank you for helping us build a better future for individuals with I/DD and their families. Thank you for your support and generosity. Best wishes & Blessings, Cecilia Navarro Tanner Board President The Arc of El Paso P.O.Box 221543 El Paso, TX 79913 915.564.4978 www.thearcofelpaso.org
