In memory fundraising IN MEMORY Our Someone Special tool can be used by your fundraisers to raise money in remembrance. Someone Special offers a simple, sensitive way for people to fundraise in memory of a loved one, for the charities that helped them. Your fundraisers can honour their loved one s courage, celebrate their memory, or even ask supporters to donate money instead of sending flowers. Page personalisation Fundraisers can include their loved one s name, birth date and date of passing on their Someone Special page, together with photographs and the story of their loved one s life. Your charity Your charity is featured prominently as part of the Someone Special page. Donations over flowers An in memory page allows people to pay their respects with a donation to charity, rather than flowers. Donors can leave personal messages with their donation on the donor community board. Link pages Family and friends who want to fundraise in memory of a loved one can create a personal fundraising page for any event (i.e. the Marathon) and link it to the Someone Special in memory page.
