4 th Annual Pacific Northwest Head & Neck Cancer Symposium Update on Oral Cancer in the Era of HPV APRIL 11, 2014 Orin Smith Auditorium UW Medicine, South Lake Union Campus

Course Description This symposium has been designed to provide updates on scientific information to clinicians involved in the care of patients with oral cancer. A multidisciplinary panel of experts will discuss the most recent clinical innovations in their respective fields, including research, treatment, current trends, and controversies in the management of oral cancer in the era of HPV. Course Objectives Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: Apply current guidelines, recommendations, and treatment strategies in a multidisciplinary approach to oral cancer Identify changing trends of oral and oropharyngeal carcinoma in the era of HPV Discuss novel therapies for managing head and neck cancer Discuss quality of life, support care, and management of toxicities involved in the care of patients with head and neck cancer Review treatment options through complex case discussions with a panel of experts Intended Audience This conference is designed for physicians and allied health professionals who manage patients with head, neck, and oral cancers. Accreditation The is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category I Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
