26-29 November 2014 II Annual Meeting Nîmes France MIPS Chair Brigitte Fatton Local Chair Renaud de Tayrac Final Announcement Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions in the Mediterranean: climbing a long hill?

Welcome Message Biagio Adile MIPS President Diaa Rizk Chairman of the Executive Board Dear Colleagues and Friends, It gives me great pleasure as the Chairman of the Executive Board and on behalf of the President, Dr. Biagio Adile, to cordially invite you to attend the Second Annual meeting of the Mediterranean Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Society [MIPS]. The venue is the beautiful Roman town of Nimes, France, famous for its architecture, landscape and historical monuments. Our Host Meeting Chairs: Dr. Brigitte Fatton and Professor Renaud De Tayrac have organized an excellent meeting to build on the outstanding success of our first meeting in Noto, Sicily in November, 2013. The scientific committee has endeavored to ensure that the programme is specific to both physician educational needs and patient care priorities in our Mediterranean countries and to include the membership feedback from our first meeting. The Host Chairs and our Executive Director, Ms. Natalia Trotta, with the assistance of the local organizing committee have organized a very interesting social programme for attendees and spouses. I am sure you all know the Executive Board Members as friends and colleagues. We, in the Executive Board, firmly believe that significant progress has been made since last year and are very optimistic about the future of our society. We have already registered MIPS as a non-profit organization in Italy with notarization of our bylaws and foundation structure. Thanks to the profit gained from the Noto meeting, MIPS is now officially a legal organizational entity and we will have our first face-to-face committee meetings in Nimes! This is a further administrative milestone that we hope will stream-line the administration process and business functions of our growing society. The Executive Board has worked very hard last year to establish MIPS as a leader in professional education, scientific research and clinical care of male and female pelvic floor dysfunctions in the Mediterranean countries. As a distinguished leader in incontinence and pelvic floor care in your own Mediterranean country, we would like to cordially invite you to attend our second annual meeting to contribute to our mission. We are very excited about this opportunity to further the collaboration and friendship between incontinence physicians working in the Mediterranean region with a consequent positive impact on incontinence care and service delivery to our patients. Biagio, Brigitte, Renaud, Natalia and me are very much looking forward to welcome you in Nimes in November, 2014. Biagio Adile and Diaa Rizk Brigitte Fatton MIPS Chair Renaud de Tayrac Local Chair Dear friends, dear colleagues We are pleased to welcome you to the 2nd Annual MIPS Meeting in Nîmes in the south of France. Take the opportunity to connect with experts in the field of urogynecology and urology with a specific focus of the Mediterranean perspectives. Have some interactive debates on innovative technologies regarding pelvic organ prolapse repair and SUI surgery, new medications for OAB symptoms and new developments in management of male sexual disorders. The scientific committee has designed a very attractive program with 10 pre conference workshops, an exciting live surgery session, several round tables and key note lectures, oral scientific presentations and industry supported educational events. Take advantage of these learning experiences while you enjoy Nîmes, a city with a rich and cultural past, in the heart of Provence. Visit the famous roman monuments, taste the mediterranean food and the wonderful wines of the «Pays d Oc». Discover the amazing «Camargue» area with its wild landscapes. We welcome you to Nîmes. Brigitte Fatton and Renaud de Tayrac
