Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous Western Slope Meeting Minutes for July 16, 2018 General Service: Rocklin gave corrections to Jeff for next schedule print, coming up on a mini prasa, go to website if interested other than that doing really well. Schedules: Jeff has new schedules take back to the groups, has new batch of changes for next printing, cost of printing was $427.59. Activities: Cindy by proxy booked American Legion Hall for for Day In the Steps with Adam T. on 10-13-18 expects 300 or more people, booked DJ for New Year s Eve Dance Blaine, planning a spaghetti Dinner Pot Luck desserts, speaker TBD, will need volunteers for set up clean up will have a gratitude and resolution board. 7 th Tradition collected: Collected Tom High Flyers had great BDay celebration on 6-30-18 200 plus people, some meetings have closed down but still have a lot of meetings. Butch Men at Work could use support, camp out 8-10, 11, 12. Suzanne Cameron Park Group meets two times per week. Monday night, 7pm, is a speaker/discussion format. Saturday night, 8 pm, is our speaker meeting. The last Saturday of the month, we celebrate birthdays. Would like to talk to Unity Group about moving speaker meeting so it does not conflict with Birthday night. Michael Sunrise Attitude Adjustment going well, well attended, getting more newcomers, working on putting them in service, hosting July 28 speaker meeting. Rocklin West Slope Unity speaker meeting July 28 th ice cream social, camp out flyers available, early registration in by 7-20-18, next year will be in the 2 nd weekend in September to get more participation since people will be done with family vacations, have enough money to keep going. Ralph El Dorado Hills Group status quo. Cari West Slope Fellowship going great, great speaker meeting on Friday night come up, womens meeting could use support. Cari Solution for Alcoholism Group meetings could use support come to Camino to get a Big Book study. Marty Sierra Step Sisters status quo, fair amount of new comers for a small meeting. Marty HOW - had to move new location needs to go on schedule at Discovery Hills Church Shingle Springs. Charlie As Bill See s It best meeting in town small meeting, going great. Kaylynn Sisters of Sobriety - going really well a lot of new comers, nice to have new people, lot of time in the room as well. Dawn PICPC will give information for schedules, please bring all old schedules to donate, created an email for the group, will put in Rehabs, Detox, Probation Dept. Parole Dept. and Mental Health Facilities. Old Business: None New Business: Jeff agenda for August would like to bring back schedule change form so that it is more organized when there are changes that need to be reported to schedules, to be handed out to the groups and put up on the website, advertising cost reported, teleservice need for new phones. Any group within our service area wishing to affiliate with Intergroup may do so simply by observing the 12 Traditions and designating one of their group members as their Intergroup Representative. It s good practice to also name a second person as alternate. It s suggested that AA members be elected who show a desire to be of service and are willing to carry out their obligation to the best of their ability in the spirit of unity and cooperation. What is the deadline for newsletter submissions? The deadline will vary from month to month depending on holidays and other factors.
