A message from Nazem Kadri Dear Friends, The Nazem Kadri Foundation and I are proud to present this year s 4th Annual Nazem Kadri Charity Golf Classic another big success. Over the past three years, with the help of our generous sponsors and golfers, we ve been able to raise almost $400,000 for local charities here in London. I m extremely proud of the success we ve been able to achieve in only 3 years. OUR TOURNAMENT BENEFICIARIES Mission Services www.missionservices.ca Founded in 1951 and rooted in Christian faith, Mission Services of London is a non-profit, social service agency committed to serving London and area with compassion and hope. Today we operate five branches that assist individuals and families struggling with poverty, homelessness, risk of homelessness, as well as adults with addiction and mental illness. We provide safe emergency shelter, nutritious food, clothing, outreach, counselling and support services. We operate in an environment of respect and dignity for clients, and in collaboration with the community. Branch tours for the public are arranged. Camp Trillium www.camptrillium.com Camp Trillium is celebrating our 32nd season of camp. We are here to ensure that every child in Ontario facing cancer doesn t have to let their disease define them. Camp Trillium has 2 sites in Ontario. OUR Island in Wellington, and the other is Rainbow Lake in Waterford, Ontario. Every year we have approximately 3,500 campers through our programs. Camp Trillium is unique in Ontario because not only do we allow the patient to come to camp. We also welcome their families as well. Camp Trillium relieves that stress and encourages the children to play, laugh, and be silly, while the parents can take a load off and relax, knowing that their children are in good hands. Parents have the opportunity to connect with other parents and share resources and stories. Camp Trillium has nursing staff on site 24/7 for all campers use to ensure all campers are feeling good and can experience all that camp has to offer. Camp Trillium does not receive any government funding. Muslim Resource Centre mrcssi.com MRCSSI creates a Safe Place for families, couples, women, children and men by offering integrative and intercultural family violence prevention and intervention services in London. The MRCSSI has successfully engaged local community leaders as well as social service and justice agencies in working through complex family conflict and family violence issues that arise from stressors associated with immigration including pre-migration trauma as well as cultural differences.
