1 It is estimated that there are more than 27-million human trafficking victims world-wide. Human trafficking is a multi-billion-dollar industry where perpetrators profit from the exploitation of others. The average age a child becomes a victim is 12. Are you ready to join the fight?

2 Who We Are Forgotten Children, Inc. (FCI) provides after care and extensive support services to victims of human trafficking, sexual exploitation and violence. Our mission is to rescue, restore, educate and bring hope to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Established in 2006, in direct response to the growing issues of human trafficking in San Bernardino, Lynwood, and the South Los Angeles community. We strive to eradicate human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of women and girls by providing comprehensive intervention and prevention services that address the mental, emotional and psychological impact caused by high-risk behaviors. Since our inception, we have established a safe house in San Bernardino, several street teams, a jail bag program and a resource/support center in Lynwood. We have reached more than 5,000 women through our street outreach and have provided housing to more than 100 women. Our primary goal is to reduce the number of women and families impacted by human trafficking by providing awareness and training to families, schools, churches and key community stake-holders located in "hot zone" areas such as: Inglewood, Compton, Lynwood, Long Beach, South Los Angeles Orange County and San Bernardino. Our prevention and intervention services include: emergency and short-term shelter, community education, reentry programs, street outreach, group therapy, and community resources. We also work with various law enforcement agencies to provide advocacy and support. Anyone is at risk of being trapped into Sexual Human Trafficking through the means of force, fraud, or coercion. According to the Center for Missing & Exploited Children, 1 in 7 endangered runaways reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in 2013 were likely sex trafficking victims, and 67 percent of them were in the care of social services or foster care. Programs Drop-in and Resource Center Our Drop-in and Resource Center is a safe place where women can come and receive support, resources and information regarding their physical, mental, and emotional needs. They are welcomed into an environment where they can relax, find comfort and feel safe. We also provide hygiene products along with clothing, hot meals and resources for short-term shelter. Anyone with a desire to leave the life is provided with the resources necessary to assist with their decision. When necessary, the center provides transportation to relocation sites or other appropriate services. Outreach and Community Support Street teams are deployed twice per month to known areas where human sex trafficking is highest. Staff and volunteers, distribute toiletries, resources and offer support. Road to Freedom Road to Freedom (RTF) is an 8-week reentry diversion program designed for women incarcerated for prostitution and sexual exploitation. Participants are provided with resources, education and the tools they need to identify behaviors that caused them to become a victim of human trafficking and prostitution.

3 Residential Housing Rachel's House of Healing (RHH) is a residential program for victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation who are 18 years of age and older. Located in San Bernardino, we provide a safe place for victims to heal from their abuse and trauma. Our full-time staff and counselors provide counseling, chemical dependency education, anger management and job training. 4 On Monday November 5, 2018, Forgotten Children, Inc. (FCI) will host the 3rd annual charity golf classic, Swinging Against Human Trafficking at Western Hills Country Club in Chino Hills, CA with our special guest speaker Avis Brown-Riley. For more than 12 years, FCI has provided aftercare services, housing and support to victims of human trafficking and proceeds raised through this event will enable FCI to continue implementing comprehensive, life affirming services in communities where human trafficking is greatest. California harbors three of the FBI s 13 highest child sex trafficking areas in the nation: Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. Registration is at 8:30am and shotgun 10:00am. As a registered player, you will start with several contests and activities to help you prepare for the day. All teams, will enjoy 18 holes of golf on a course that s guaranteed to provide excellent playing conditions. You may sign up as an individual ($200/person) or as a team ($750/team of 4). Immediately following the tournament, there will be a banquet in the clubhouse, a silent auction and a presentation of awards to the top teams. You will also hear firsthand how FCI is making a difference.
