PHONE: (972) 562-2601 Irene V. McKee September 13, 1922 - April 9, 2009 Mrs. Irene V. McKee, age 86, of McKinney, Texas passed away April 9, 2009, in McKinney. She was born on September 13, 1922, in Waite Park, Minnesota to Bernard and Eleanor (Moeller) Linn. On February 4, 1950, she married Virgil Dewitt McKee in Waite Park. Mrs. McKee was a Librarian Aide and a member of the St. Jude Catholic Community Church in Allen, Texas. She is survived by her sons, Mark McKee and Sue of Westbend, Wisconsin, David McKee and Caren of Plano, Texas, Richard McKee and Theresa also Plano, John McKee and Katy of Greenwood, Minnesota, and Joe McKee and Shelly of Pottsboro, Texas; daughters, Mary Leidy and Steven of Plano, Texas and Deborah Walter and Opie of St. Paul, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerome Linn and Bernard Linn both of Minnesota; sisters, Laverne Plaziak of Minnesota and Dorothy Holland of California; and sister-in-law, Ruth Prieve also of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil in 1985, and brother, Donald Linn. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2009, at St. Jude Catholic Community Church. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorials Irene was such a wonderful and caring woman. I am really going to miss her. Her warm smile could brighten any heart. She was such a loving friend, mother and grandmother.
