KIMS Hospital has designed a one-stop clinic that can help to diagnose their conditions, develop a treatment plan, bringing peace of mind to your patient. The clinic is led by consultant cardiologists and supported by specialist cardiac nurses and cardiac physiologists. The clinic offers an initial assessment, electrocardiogram (ECG) test and consultation with the cardiologist. Following this, an ultrasound of the heart can be carried out and an ECG device fitted. The small monitor is injected under the skin and can monitor the patient s heart for up to three years. All this can be carried out during one appointment at KIMS. If a device is fitted, it will be monitored by cardiac physiologists and cardiologists. Should further treatment be required as a result of the information recorded, your cardiologist will recommend a treatment plan. All costs can be discussed with your insurance company, or can be arranged as a self-pay package.
