Objectives At the end of the course of dermatology, the student should be able to 1. Recognize the common skin disease in the community. 2.Practice the specialty of dermatology in keeping with the principles of professional ethics 3.Ttake detailed history, perform full physical examination and make clinical diagnosis. 4. Being able to prescribe the appropriate treatment for each dermatologic disease. x) 5. Diagnose and manage dermatologic emergencies efficiently 6. Performing skilled and procedural practice. Attendance Students are expected to attend all classes and to complete all assignments for courses in which they are enrolled. An absence does not relieve the student of the responsibility to complete all assignments. If an absence is associated with a university-sanctioned activity, the instructor will provide an opportunity for assignment make-up. However, it is the instructor s decision to provide, or not to provide, make-up work related to absences for any other reason. Academic Honesty Plagiarism. In speaking or writing, plagiarism is the act of passing someone else s work off as one s own.
