Welcome to Cluj-Napoca Dear colleagues, On behalf of AOSpine Europe, I would like to welcome you to the 2016 AOSpine Advanced Course on Primary and Secondary tumors of the spine held in Cluj-Napoca. It will be focused on primary and secondary spine tumors, clinical approach and differentiation between the two, the grading and the way of best grading for an effective treatment, the therapeutic indication, the surgical challenges and pitfalls of this type of surgery. The participants will have the opportunity to interact with the faculty and to form case groups that will have to discuss and to present their diagnosis and therapeutic options. Once again, I would like to remind you that the success of the course is dependent not only on the faculty but also on you, the participant. We urge each one of you to take an active part in the lectures and discussions, to ask questions, to raise controversies and to help the program be more interactive and fruitful to all of us. I also ask each one to bring ist own cases. I invite you to enjoy the nice atmosphere of continental autumn in Cluj-Napoca, the great colours of this season and, above all, a great educational experience. Sincerely Tiberiu Maior Chairperson Bucharest, Romania Emre Acaroglu Educational Advisor Ankara, Turkey
