Dear Friends, It gives us great pleasure to invite you to join us in Heidelberg on the occasion of the Annual Meeting. The Brain Tumour Group s aims are to advance the care of children with CNS tumours. The SIOP- E BTG is necessarily a multi-disciplinary group and its members are a close knit group working together in developing clinical trials, advancing the understanding of how cancer develops and how to halt it, developing new therapies, sharing expertise and over the past several years are committed to developing a strong training and education programme. In collaboration, the disciplines of neuro-oncology, radiation therapy and neurosurgery have been holding regular Paediatric Neuro-oncoly education days and workshops in Europe. In collaboration with World SIOP, ISPN and WFNS, the BTG has also held similar educational activities in these societies meetings. This year our Training and Education along with the Neurosurgery Group has put together an exciting programme of education and training which includes guidance on Brainstem biopsies. The 3 rd Annual Paediatric Neuro-Oncology Education Day and Training Workshop will be held on the 4 th June 2015 at Print Media Akademie, Heidelberg. The faculty has been assembled out of the continent s leading oncologists, radiation therapists and neurosurgeons.
