PRESIDENT S DESK Dear Friends: It is my pleasure to present the Annual Report of Kasba Dweep Welfare Society (K.D.W.S) for the year 2012-2013. In one hand it has been full of significant initiatives and approaches to build a successful Non- Governmental Organization, and in other hand enhancing all the efforts in the field of HEALTH AND EDUCATION for the underprivileged section of WOMEN AND CHILDREN. During this financial year being a nascent organization, K.D.W.S. has made a commendable performance in the promotion of Health and Education for women and children. The spirit of the members and staffs are very high to reach the goal in this abysmal sector. K.D.W.S. has attained the credibility as a support organization in the state of West Bengal and for that I would like to give word of Thanks to all the members of K.D.W.S. for rendering a tremendous support. I am looking forward to their continued support in the future as well. As you know, our organization has taken part for the development of the society and carried out two significant programmes in two different significant locations. We organized a book distribution programme in Bhagabanpur district Medinipur on the auspicious day of September 5, 2012 and a sports meet in Habibpur district Nadia on December 23, 2012. Unexpectedly, we got tremendous support from the people of Bhagabanpur and Habibpur. The support and love what we received from those people were incredible and so we are highly thankful to them. We are looking forward to organize a free medical camp for women and children and progressively that camp would be raised to a Multifacility Charitable Hospital and its branches in different districts of all over West Bengal for the betterment of Health Care for the underprivileged people. We are also planning to open a study centre and vocational training centre and those centres progressively raised to vocational training college and school. We expect K.D.W.S. will grow progressively in the forthcoming years and in the long run it would become one of the leading social welfare organizations of India. With the new perspective plan in hands, K.D.W.S has a long way to go for promoting collaborations with the Government of India in the field of health and education. I also take this opportunity to congratulate the staff of K.D.W.S who has untiringly worked towards building the organization as a dynamic and futuristic organization. Partha Pratim Goswami President of K.D.W.S. Teacher

No.: AR/2012-2013 Annual Report for the year: 2012-2013 Dear Members: Website: www.dweepwelfaresociety.org Vision: Ciel est la limite Twitter: @KDWS2 Blog: dweepwelfaresociety.org/blog-2 Before presenting the annual report we formed a quorum with the requisite members in this Annual General Meeting. The President declared that was a valid meeting. Audit and budget both are placed and passed in this meeting. Date: Executive committee was elected once again by hand vote and passed in this meeting by all the members. All the charges are handed over to the new governing body. Since Kasba Dweep Welfare Society is a new organization therefore we had to select a new auditor in this meeting to audit 2012-2013 financial year. Annual report was read and passed in this meeting by all the members present in the meeting. Our organization has started the distance education primarily and looking forward we will increase our activities in the near future by the cooperation of other members. Due to acute fund crunch we could only perform two activities in this financial year. a) A Book Distribution program in Bhagabanpur of Medinipur District on August 05, 2012 to the underprivileged student. b) A sports ceremony program in Habibpur of Nadia District on December 25, 2012. Keeping Child and Women Welfare in mind these two projects were done. Funds are contributed by the five members of Executive committee. We are highly thankful to the people of Bhagabanpur and Habibpur to support our two little endeavors. We had received a tremendous amount of support from them. Our mission to support the underprivileged children was a grand success. Now we are looking forward to do some project on women welfare.
