Dear All, While it is well known that Bengaluru is the IT and knowledge capital of the country, NIMHANS, an Institute of National Importance, is one of Asia s leading neuroscience research and teaching centres.the Department of Neurology at NIMHANS is dedicated to training of students in Neurology and is one of the major contributors to manpower development in Neurology in India. With this National mandate, it gives us great pleasure to announce that from this year onwards the Department of Neurology at NIMHANS is conducting a unique Annual CME program in Neurology, entitled Annual Reviews in Practical Neurology (ARPrAN). This program, a first of its kind, will focus on three specialties of Neurology each year. In each specialty there will be keynote lectures, dedicated symposia, video and imaging sessions, case discussions, and quiz and debates for neurology residents. The primary aim of the program is to offer to the participants comprehensive reviews in different subspecialties of Neurology. This year, the ARPrANis scheduled to be from 6thto 8th July 2018, at the NIMHANS convention centre, Bengaluru, and will review the areas of Stroke, Movement Disorders and CNS Demyelination. The program will be an intensive one primarily for the residents in neurology and post graduates in medicine and other relevant streams, and also for young neurologists and internists. The faculty will be eminent national faculty in each specialty. We cordially invite you to attend this teaching program and we are confident that it will be a great academic exercise.
