Course Structure This is an online course and can be begun at any time at any time. Each month you will receive a monthly pdf file and access to a secure area of our website to view a video that teaches you how to make an aromatherapy product. Over 12 modules you will learn to make 12 different types of product. You will become qualified as an AromaVision Consultant in the Energetic Use of Katseye Blends This is a certificated and insurable qualification. Our Mission Statement This course brings together the very best of my own learning over the past 20 years in energy medicine and my experience using Katseye Blends in my own practice and as a Trainer. Many of these Blends were co-created by Christos Katsis (Founder of Katseye Blends) and myself to support those working with emotional and spiritual health and energy based medicine. You will learn which chakras need balancing and which colours suit your own constitution and therefore which Blends and products you can use for balance and well-being for yourself and others. Main aims of Course: The AromaVision Consultant Online Training Course serves as an in-depth guide to using Katseye Blends for energetic use and teaches participants to make safe and effective products and treatments using the Blends for their own personal use, their practice or for gifts or resale. Understanding of the Blends and application of the knowledge gained is demonstrated through submission of modular assessments. Successful participants will receive an AromaVision Consultant Certificate in the energetic use of Katseye Blends on completion of the course and assessments. The online course comprises 12 modules. Following is an overview of the course and the 12 modules: This particular course focuses on the use of the Blends to treat acute and chronic emotional states; to clear, cleanse and improve energy flow in the body and to connect more deeply with our authentic selves. In this it provides a supportive way to offer ways of enhancing well being. This course has as its foundation the exact same core syllabus as our therapeutic course; how it differs is in the Blends discussed focus upon emotional and spiritual well being rather than physical health. Thinking skills Produce a Fact Find form which is appropriate to your practice. The Fact Find form will be required to detail specific areas such as all potential contraindications, medical history, medication currently being taken, areas of stress or imbalance and reason for current treatments. Demonstrate that potential contraindications have been checked for and that Blends, dilutions and carriers used in the treatment or products described during your course take this into account fully. Demonstrate ability to choose an appropriate Blend or combination of Blends and explain your choice in relation to the consultation procedure and presenting symptoms both physical and emotional and how these Blends treat the person holistically Demonstrate through choice of treatment/products made that you are able to use appropriate carriers suited to your client and based on the most effective way to treat presenting symptoms and the person as a whole, taking into account age and lifestyle. Practical skills Detail the exact recipes used for each product that you describe as part of your coursework and on attended weekends. Participants are required to determine and explain their decision in respect of the following: -
Aim of treatment: Contraindications Choice of carrier/product: i.e. massage oil, body lotion, Rollerball etc. Dilution: i.e. total number of drops of essential oil to be used Blend or Blends chosen and number of drops of each Blend and why Demonstrate ability to competently make products/treatments using the recipes Demonstrate ability to label products correctly and safely Teaching/learning methods/strategies used to enable the achievement of learning outcomes: 12 modules comprising text documents. Each module assessment is to be returned to your Tutor within 6 weeks of the end of each Module. Each module contains guided questions with examples where appropriate. Coursework will be returned with feedback indicating the strengths and weaknesses of the work. We aim to return coursework within 2 weeks of the submission date.
