(Doors open at 5pm) Games and fellowship is the reason many of the seniors of Wood County come to Forever Young. The games are played twice a week, and laughter abounds. Here s a sample of the many tables of fun! Join us when you can!

LAST WEEK... The 42 tournament last week was very successful! Twelve teams competed. Winners were: 1st place: 2nd place: Ray and Peggy D. Peggy F and Marion S. Our thanks to Jackie T for organizing the event and preparing lunch with the help of Sally A for desserts. Although the tournament was the big attraction of the day, there was some Mah Jongg and other games being played in the background. Still fun for everyone!

LAST WEEK... 1st place Ray and Peggy D. 2nd place Peggy F and Marion S Last Friday s Speaker Subject: Medicare Changes Thomas Cunningham of Cunningham Insurance was our speaker last Friday, sharing several Medicare changes: new cards with new Medicare #, not your SS number; donut hole is to close in 2019 (you will pay no more than 25% of the cost); the Medicare Independent Payment Advisory Board has been dissolved; Medicare cap on covered expenses for outpatient therapy has been officially repealed. He also explained several things about original Medicare and the Medicare Advantage plans. Thank you, Thomas, for keeping us informed!

WELLNESS DAY 2018 IN MINEOLA Forever Young manned a booth at the recent Walmart Wellness Day in Mineola. Jean C and Daisy B worked the first shift, Mary P and Elaine D worked the second. They visited with the shoppers about the schedule of events at FYAC, sharing the monthly calendar, as well as inviting them to the upcoming FYAC Community Health Fair on October 4. They also handed out FYAC information pamphlets and advertised the Charitable Bingo. This Friday s MEATLOAF $5 lunch is...
