Dcumenting in Epic/EMR access is nt readily available t Peers s transferring secure inf can be difficult but there are ways arund this Addictin peers are in recvery as well, s it is gd fr them t have a Peer supervisr t help them create self-care plans Persnal Experience can draw a very clear line in the sand when serving peers in active addictin. Fr example race, prisn, criminal, gang experience r lack f it. S it's best t have a range f peer types.
Peer Integratin and Supervisin Systems are still figuring this ut Ideally, peers are cntracted frm a peer agency where they can receive supervisin, training and supprt utside f the health care team Peers are best utilized if they can als wrk in the cmmunity utside f the clinic r hspital as a way t ensure cntinued supprt and engagement- Recvery is a jurney!
