Do we have your membership details correctly recorded? June is a time when we encourage you to check and update your personal details on the club database. Many of you either don t know or are uncertain how to do this. The club makes use of a purpose built database system called DACDb to help with administration, membership, scheduling etc. You can record your makeups there and also keep track of Rotary events across the District. Simple step by step instructions to access DACDb and check your details. 1. Go to http://www.dacdb.com/ 2. At the top right of the screen, next to the phone number, select the Login Option 3. Enter the email address used to send you information about Rotary 4. Enter your Rotary International membership number. Few of us know this, and the easy way to find is is on the address label on your copy of the Rotary magazine. If you can t find it, contact the Club Secretary Jan Grossmann to obtain it 5. Ignore the request for our club number although it is 26476 if you ever need to know. 6. Hit the Login button and you will be taken to a page headed "Rotary District 6080" 7. On that title page there are 2 lines of selection options. Select "My Data" 8. You will be taken to a page summarizing your personal data. Select "edit" if necessary and follow the prompts. Please feel able to browse the DACDb site. There are various levels of access authority required for different levels of information so you won t be able to see everything but its useful to familiarize yourself with the site. Equally it s unlikely you can do any damage.
