HeartKids has committed over $3.5 million to research Will Age 10 We reviewed a large number of charities doing impressive work and chose to invite HeartKids to partner with the Pinnacle Charitable Foundation, because the organisation was quickly able to understand our objectives and was clearly delivering real community impact. HeartKids provides detailed and transparent reporting, and offers wonderful opportunities for us to hear directly from researchers on the outcomes and impact of their work, and to share these experiences with our staff and key stakeholders. HeartKids has always worked with us as a true partner, and through understanding each other s priorities we have been able to craft a real win-win relationship. Our initial vision was to provide seed funding for the first 3 years of this program, and give Grants-in-Aid a solid platform to build on. However given the impressive outcomes of the initial 3 year partnership, we were delighted to extend our involvement for a further 3 years to contribute to the early assessment and development of HeartKids ground-breaking congenital heart disease registry project. We are truly impressed by HeartKids innovative approach and are very proud of our partnership which creates shared value, engages our staff and stakeholders, and most importantly improves the outlook for those affected by childhood heart disease. Mary Jung, Community Investment Manager, Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited Partners and their key stakeholders have an opportunity to meet with researchers at our annual Grants-in-Aid (GIA) awards ceremony to hear the outcomes and impact of their research.
