ABOUT THE CADAVER COURSE The Advanced MSK Ultrasound Skills Course Focus on Regenerative Medicine Ultrasound for diagnosis and image guided intervention requires a high degree of skill to navigate sonoanatomy and perform complex procedures. In addition to training in both basic and advanced musculoskeletal intervention, participants will learn about the emerging field of Regenerative Medicine and Human Cell Therapy for musculoskeletal disease. Each participant receives personalized hands-on instruction from ultrasound experts using human cadavers to practice interventional procedures. The primary audience is Physical Medicine and Sports Medicine physicians, Radiologists, Sonographers, Orthopedic Surgeons, Rheumatologists and PAs. Educational Objectives After attending The Advanced MSK Ultrasound Skills Course participants will be able to: n Understand the application and indications for use of ultrasound guided interventions for Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rheumatologic disease. n Perform shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee, foot and ankle injections using ultrasound guidance. n Understand the emerging field of Regenerative Medicine and its evidence-based applications to musculoskeletal pathology. n Incorporate novel regenerative joint and tendon procedures into a musculoskeletal practice. n Practice ultrasound guided injection techniques for the upper and lower extremity as well as bone marrow aspiration on cadaver models.
