SAWFA Membership Fee for 1 year, Examination fees and refreshments PAYMENT DETAILS Refer to attached course registration form. In case of cancellation by the course participant prior to CANCELLATIONS commencement of the course, a cancellation fee of R350.00 will be charged. COURSE NOTES AND LECTURES CPR PRACTICAL HOURS LOGGED CERTIFICATE WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU All literature will be handed out at registration. All the course manuals & notes and lectures will be in English although help in Afrikaans will be available. The exam paper will be in English. To obtain the instructors certificate, a valid CPR certificate is required. Details of CPR courses will be provided on request. All participants are required to log hours by attending at least 10 classes (preferably with at least 3 different SAWFA qualified instructors if possible). The practical hours will be presented as part of the course. A SAWFA Certificate of Instruction will be awarded: On presentation of a valid CPR Certificate Successfully passing a Written Examination (Closed book) and a Practical and Oral Examination with a Practical Written Plan of the Work-out. Presentation of the completed Hours logged sheet Swimming Costumes (at least 2 per day) Towels (at least 2 per day) Pen Coloured pencils Paper (in case you want to make additional notes) Own Lunch ** PLEASE NOTE that this is a full time course and attendance for the full period is required. However, you may choose to attend the lectures and practicals over the two weekends only. If you choose this option you will be required to attend at least 10 classes (preferably with at least 3 different SAWFA qualified instructors if possible) prior to the examinations. The fee in this instance will be R 5300 and the examination date will be 3 November.
