Turning Point Community Programs

Mission Statement Mission & History Turning Point Community Programs provides integrated, cost effective mental health services, employment and housing for adults, children and their families that promote recovery, independence and self-sufficiency. History Year Founded- 1976 TPCP has had a long history of providing adults with recovery-oriented services that are both multi-disciplinary and highly individualized, including outreach and engagement (to un-served or underserved individuals, including those who are homeless, incarcerated, living in remote areas, or challenged in recognizing the need for treatment), psychiatric services, 24/7 crisis/on-call support, case management with focused aftercare planning, peer support, substance abuse treatment, and both individual and group therapy/counseling. Our primary goals are to prevent recidivism and promote recovery by providing multi-agency care, support and treatment. We also provide services to other demographics, including services for children, youth, and families, which aim to remove or reduce risk factors such as unsafe environments, exposure to violence, and bullying behaviors, and replace them with protective factors promoting wellness and resilience.
