Parent Teacher Sign-ups for Conferences can be found on the DMS Website Conferences will be held this Thursday, December 1 st. Pictures will go home tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30 th. Re-Take day for DMS picture day will be Dec. 7 th For students who did not get their pictures taken back in October and for students who want to have their pictures retaken. Students who are coming for retakes should bring their individual packages BACK to the photographer. Order sheets are available in the school office or on-line at www.coffeepond.com DMS Social Studies News Leah Grip and Caitlan Sheehan are presenting at the National Council of the Social Studies Conference in Washington, D.C. This conference draws thousands of Social Studies teachers from around the country. They are presenting on using inquiry strategies with political cartoons to promote critical thinking skills. They will be great! For the rest of the weekend, the three of us will be attending the awesome sessions available at the conference on Social Studies topics. HOMEWORK CLUB Come use the beautiful library in our building!! Homework Club is Monday - Thursday after school in the library from 2:45-3:45. It is staffed by a teacher, and three of those days a MATH teacher runs it!! Students can come for all or part of the time and complete homework and get help if necessary. National Honor Society also sends a student to help tutor! Best of all, it is FREE!!!

AFTER SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS TRAINING starts on 12/13 & registration is now OPEN! For more information and to register: www.duxburystrength.com REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for Duxbury Youth Wrestling! DUXBURY SPORTS WALL FUNDRAISER Where: Duxbury Legion When: Friday, December 9 th from 6-9pm Cost: $25 per person (adults only) ***Food included***fantastic raffle prizes and silent auction items***cash bar*** 100% of the proceeds will go towards funding the sports wall! PLEASE JOIN US! Support the Duxbury community to raise funds for the new sports wall. Let s provide a place for our kids to practice town sports for years to come!
