MicroDerm Skinmap Plus-System Clinical documentation of the skin surface The microderm Skinmap PLUS-System allows you to create standardised total body mapping in a minimal period of time with the highest degree of detail. The software quickly & intuitively leads the user through the scanning process & automatically captures images of predefined skin areas from head to toe. During the imaging process, the user is supported in the detection of newly developed nevi. The microderm Skinmap enables standardised overview images of the entire skin surface. During the documentation process, the patient is photographed from all sides and the overview images are made available for screening and follow-up in order to allow a straight forward nevus examination. Predefined localisations thereby enable a quick and reliable creation of the patient s overall picture. Thanks to the camera s live view function, you always maintain the exact positioning of the patient. Examinations with epiluminescence dermoscopy using the microderm systems allow nevi to be marked and analysed directly on the overview images. During the follow-up, both macroscopic and microscopic images can be compared and analysed. The software is able to edit the image data and may assist in forming a diagnosis. Outstanding advantages Brilliant and standardised image quality Space saving modular design, wall mounted or integrated on a roll cart Clinical, microscopic documentation Versatile image management & export functions Reliable and efficient workflow Can be used with all microderm imaging systems Patient is photographed from all sides and the overview images are available for screening and follow-up. Mavig VivaScope Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy - Innovation for Analysis, Diagnosis and Therapeutic Monitoring In vivo, optical skin biopsy in real-time Opening a window to the skin, this innovative imaging process provides for the first time a non-invasive view into the living epidermis and dermis, down to the superficial stratumn reticulare in a pain free, uncomplicated, and quick manner. Microscopically accurate and non-invasive Traditional methods are only the first step for mostly invasive and time-consuming diagnostic procedures. Confocal laser scanning microscopes offered by MAVIG, however, make it possible to depict different skin structures step by step horizontally with microscopic accuracy and in cellular resolution. Examples for in vivo applications Melanocytic lesions: pigmented skin cancer and its early forms Non-melanocytic lesions: non-pigmented skin cancer and it s early forms Inflammatory diseases Wound healing/burns Ex vivo, analysing biopsied tissue Although confocal laser scanning microscopy makes it possible to avoid a biopsy in many cases, ex vivo tissue samples are still very important. Confocal laser scanning allows for the analysis of sampled tissue with minimal preparation. The prompt assessment of the excised tissue in precisely defined optical cross-sections is therefore possible immediately after excision of the tissue sample. MAVIG offers different confocal laser scanning microscopes for in vivo use - on living tissue - as well as the associated imaging software. Examples for ex vivo applications Mohs surgery Pathological tissue 5
