Alta Murrieta PTA Pursuing Excellence Dear Alta Families, The Alta Murrieta Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) would like to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year! If you are unfamiliar with us, we are a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff who are dedicated to the successful education of our children. The Alta PTA works hard to help make the school year both enjoyable and exciting for students, teachers, and parents. The purpose of the Alta PTA is to aid the students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs, to promote open communication between administration, teachers and parents, and to encourage Alta school spirit and pride. Our theme this year is, Let's Paint the School with Participation. It will be represented by a paint palette, colors and a paintbrush. We look forward to meeting you, whether you are a parent, grandparent, or relative, that would like to get involved with our PTA this school year. We invite you to not only join our organization, but to get involved as well! Everything we do is based on volunteers, and we always look for those of you who want to make a difference in the lives of our children. If you are able to give some time, either daytime or evenings, we invite you to join us! We welcome all volunteers! Many hands make the job easier. The PTA meets periodically throughout the school year to discuss events, plan fundraisers, and to share ideas. This is a great way to find out what is happening at our school. Our FIRST PTA meeting will be on Tuesday, August 21st @ 4:00 PM. We invite you to join us! Every meeting gives you a chance to ask questions, make suggestions, meet and talk with other parents and hear important information about what is happening at Alta Murrieta. We believe that our most important mission is to do everything we can to enhance the learning environment of our children, as they truly are our future. We hope you will join us this year in making this goal a reality! Cassandra Lira Alta Murrieta PTA President, 2018-2019 altamurrietapta@gmail.com
