QAILS WHO ARE WE? Queensland Association of Independent Legal Services (QAILS) is the peak body representing community legal centres in Queensland. The annual QAILS Conference is the premier event in the community legal centres calendar. Each year the Conference brings together a diverse range of people including centre directors, social workers, lawyers, volunteers and decision makers. The conference provides community legal centre staff with an opportunity to develop and strengthen their skills, increase their knowledge base and network with people working in the field. The QAILS Conference is a one-of-a-kind Queensland event, attracting delegates from across the state. It is an opportunity to expose your brand to legal centre staff and keep your organisation front of mind.

WHAT S IN IT FOR YOU? Your organisation will be seen as a strong supporter of Queensland s community legal centres, as well as increasing access to justice for vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in our community. QAILS will promote your support to our 33 community legal centres via regular enewsletters, Twitter, Facebook and on the QAILS website. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? CASH LET S BE HONEST UP FRONT! BUT WE WOULD ALSO BE HAPPY TO RECEIVE PRO-BONO SUPPORT. $5000 TRANSPORT SPONSOR For delegates from centres in rural, regional or remote parts of Queensland, the state conference is the only opportunity they have to meet face-to-face with their colleagues from other CLC s. Your support will allow us to provide subsidised travel for up to ten delegates travelling from remote and regional centers. $3000 PRO-BONO LAWYERS BREAKFAST SPONSOR If you are thinking of volunteering at one of the community legal centres or currently do and want to network with like-minded people then this is the event for you. The event is taking place on Tuesday 26 May 7.30am 9.00am at the Park Regis Hotel and participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a hot buffet breakfast as well the chance to hear from people who volunteer at a range of centres specialising in different areas of law. $2000 COFFEE BREAK SPONSOR Coffee and tea areas will be located within the foyer area of the conference space and will be visited countless times throughout the day. As a sponsor of one of the coffee break sessions, your company logo, name or message in this area will encourage delegates to remember you. $5000 CONFERENCE DINNER SPONSOR The conference dinner will be held at On Quay Restaurant at the Park Regis Hotel, North Quay on 26 May 2015. This is one of the most popular events in the conference calendar and the event is always well attended. $3000 NEW PRACTITIONER NETWORKING EVENT SPONSOR Delegates who are starting their careers and students thinking of working in this field will come together to network with senior practitioners. The event will be held at 6.00pm on Monday 25 May starting at 6.00pm at a local venue. $3000 TENANCY MASTERCLASS SPONSOR For the first time this year we are having a stream for lawyers wanting to learn about tenancy and housing issues. This training day will take place on Thursday 28 May at Park Regis Hotel after the main conference. ing this stream will give you the opportunity to skill your staff in this specialist area of law. $2000 PLENERY SESSION SPONSOR There will be plenary sessions held each day of the conference. Each plenary will feature a speaker, panel discussion or hypothetical. Details of each plenary topic will be available in March 2015. $1000 DELEGATE BAG SPONSOR Delegate bags featuring the sponsor s logo will be distributed to attendees at registration. The conference delegate bag is used extensively at the conference, and is equally valued back home and at work. VOLUNTEER AT THE CONFERENCE FREE If your staff are keen to volunteer at the 2015 QAILS Conference then we are keen to have them. We can have them work with our staff the week prior to the conference packing delegate packs, helping with registrations on the day or assisting with a range of tasks specific to their skill area.
