Disease Group National Focal Point European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) (Sweden) 2013 Present Coordinator of the National Reference Center for M/XDR Tuberculosis Evaluates and monitors all cases of M/XDRTB in the country; identify and implement strategies in order to detect MDRTB cases earlier, assure that all cases identified start treatment, monitors the regimen treatment prescribed (all MDRTB cases are managed in clinical reference centres for MDRTB with highly trained professionals) Member of the Assembly 10 Long Range Planning Committee of European Respiratory Society The Long Range Planning Committee (LPRC) is a consulting body, with the objective of providing strategic development and to assist the Assembly Heads Secretary General of The Union Europe Region International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease. Europe Region Officers (France) Provides technical assistance and consultancy to the President and Vice President. Member of the task force from European Respiratory Society to work with the Thorax Latino-American Society on the road-map on tuberculosis elimination on Latin America Works as consultant, advising on the strategies to be implemented.
