11 WHEN SHOULD I PERFORM AN AMAS? We recommend doing an AMAS test t on ALL new patients t over the age of 30 as part of their initial exam. The AMAS does require dry ice, about 4 hours of preparation and must be shipped overnight to Oncolab.
