APPLICATING SYSTEMS it is easy to apply, but in order to get good results, it is better to execute sessions following some fundamental rules. We remind that air reduce ultrasounds, so it is necessary to apply always a certain quantity of gel for ultrasounds or massaging cream between treating head and skin. The treating head has to be applied perpendicular to treated area and made it run slowly, with low pressure of hands, picking up sometimes used gel or cream and maintaining always a certain layer of cream or gel between treating head and skin. in order to avoid overheating of treated zone, you have to move head with slow and uniform movement, paying attention to never to leave head stopped. WARNINGS AND LIMITATIONS FOR USE Before proceeding with application, it is necessary to identify right part of body you need to treat. For treatments against cellulitis, it is advised to execute session with erect body for a right evaluation of treating area, instead by sitting down or lying down re is a phase displacement of silhoutte. The actions given by s are connected to time of application for small areas, so for bigger areas it will bring more time because of repeating of same more times depending on treating area. Before starting, put on treating head an abundant quantity of gel or specific cream. start and put on nude skin treating head. Move slowly and circularly treating head, n on and back or with a movement draw an imaginary eight. depending on, you could feel a light vibration or a light warm. The total time of each treatment is already automatically set and re is no way to modif it. We advise using a single treating head per treatment. If it is necessary to interrupt suddenly, please remember ALWAYS to pause device, orwise treating head LEAVED WORKING without creams and motionless gets overheated with risk of getting damaged; heads are not included in warranty. MAG201 Professional can be used for rapeutic functions for certain specific mes. Given different physical conditions of persons, we recommend each person using machine to consult ir personal doctor for each and any query. 9-70

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING DEVICE CLEANING ATTENTiON: all cleaning and maintenance operations are to be executed with your device disconnected from electrical equipment. you can clean your device with a softy and wet cloth, pay attention to not to use any solvent or products with alcohol basis or abrasives, especially on display in order to avoid opacity. We advise to get cloth wet with distillate water or demineralized water. MANIPLE CLEANIG For maniple cleaning are valid same rules as for medical device. TREATING HEAD CHECK UP At every cleaning of maniples and even at end of every treatment, it is necessary to check that re aren't any that could allow conducting liquid to enter in. should maniples show fissures, this means that maniples have to be replaced with new ones. MAINTENANCE OF THE ELECTRONIC FEEDER it is advised to observe correct representation here below for exact positioning of feeder after treatment. YES NO 10-70

ULTRASOUNDTHERAPY Ultrasounds were introduced and studied in period after second World War (Erlangen Congress in 1949). in italy y spread immediately and a lot of italian scientists contributed determinately to experimental and clinical researches in this field. Ultrasounds are acoustic vibrations with frequency over than hz (cycles/second) not audible from a human ear. They spread like compression and decompression waves with coming and going movement of particles of transmission organ, parallel to direction of propagation waves. Ultrasounds are produced artificially trough piezoelectric effect, with a quartz or a disc of ceramic material. Applying some electrical charges on faces of a quartz leaf re is compression of crystal, by inverting sense it gets extended. By putting quartz under an alternating electric field we get an alternate of compressions and expansions of crystal with production of a series of vibrations used in rapies. ACTION SYSTEM The interaction of ultrasounds with biological tissue produces mechanical, rmic, chemical and cavitations effects. Mechanical effects: mechanical action is due to movement of particles of tissues passed through ultrasonic wave. The pressure fluctuations produced can determine a movement of liquids in presence of inhomogeneity (micro-flows), an increase in permeability of membrane and upset of tissues for separation of collagen fibers. Thermic effects: rmic effect depends on two factors: absorbing features of biologic means and reflection of energy at interface level between tissues of different acoustic impedance. The connection of ultrasounds through "soft" tissues creates an increase in temperature due to absorbance related to viscosity, absorbance due to rmic conductivity and chemical absorbance. Chemical effects: chemical absorbance with modification of local Ph and of permeability of cellular membranes and with molecular changes is caused by noticeable accelerator forces m particles of tissues are undergo to connection of passing of ultrasonic wave

Cavitations effects: cavitations is capability of ultrasounds of generating little bubbles of liquid gas in a fluid, with following increase in dimensions e possible explosion of bubbles. For an histological point of view, result consists of an irregular cellular destruction with petecchiale hemorrhage. By rapeutic quantities, destructive reactions such as hemolysis would exist only with low cellular concentration and low viscosity of means, for example at level of ear or of womb. GENERAL APPLICATION SYSTEMS Ultrasounds rapy can be given in two different ways: by direct contact with a mobile or fix head, or by immersion. The direct contact way, which is used more frequently, consists of application of head with direct contact to skin through interpose of a substance (usually a conductive gel) in order to favor transmission between head and skin and on or hand to favor adherence, sliding and elimination of possible presence of air between skin and transductor that could obstacle transmission of ultrasonic wave because of his reflecting capability. With mobile head transductor, which has to be applied with soft pressure, is made sliding with short movements (3-4 centimeters), perpendicular one to or, or with circular movements, with an extension of maximum centimeters. On bigger articulations, such as on hip or on shoulder, treatment fields should be three: front, side and back, because a single treatment is not enough for interpose of bone. in fix head way, this one is put on treating area with a sustaining stand, this stand keep head in contact with skin all session long with interpose of an electro-conducting gel. By this way, re are noticeable increases in temperature in a little area, but resting field is not warm so we require minus emission power o pulsed emission. recently were launched on market medical devices for ultrasounds rapy with innovative heads, guided by modern level of power, that allows to reduce increase in temperature, always granting an homogeneous emission of power on treated area

UNAUTHORISED USES It s forbidden use of this device in following cases: On patients with pace-makers or severe cardiac problems; Women in course of pregnancy; For abundant menstrual flows and in presence of intrauterine devices; On persons with fixed metal plates or prossis; On epileptics and persons generally not self-sufficient; People with neoplasia; On persons with a temperature; On persons who have been subject to surgery in past 30 days; Equipment must be used only by persons in full possession of ir mental faculties; Equipment is not authorised for children or minors s use; Treatment may not be used on front part of neck (though applications may, however, be carried out on back of neck); do not use on tissue with open wounds, irritated or grazed skin; Avoid using maniple in area around eyes (within 3 cm of latter), cavities or genitals

CYCLES AND SESSIONS The number of sessions could varies depending on extension of treating part and on condition of area. Generally, a first cycle made up of 10/15 sessions can be followed by a second one at least after 5 days of rest. FIRST RESULTS First results can be obtained even by first sessions, especially where skin is neat, elastic and softy. We do not advise to interrupt cycle of session, in order to keep your enhancements. Between two sessions, it is better to wait at least 24 hours and session should be interrupt during your menstrual cycle. in pause between sessions or even same day, a light gymnastic (walking) or an extended massage or hydro massage are useful, toger with drinking often little water during day. AESTHETIC APPLICATIONS Ultrasounds are highly suggested in external treatment of all cellulitis imperfections, and are particularly effective with: - in remodeling of localized adiposities; - in treating orange peel and harsh skin; - in increasing and making better elasticity of tissues; - in reducing or eliminating unaestic protuberances and dimples; - in making better tone of tissues, making m more compact and plain; - in favoring penetration of anti-cellulitis creams and in genre; - in reducing cellulitis nodules; - in repairing local circulation and nourishment of skin

THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS Therapeutic effects of ultrasounds are partially due to an increase in temperature. They are represented by analgesia, by muscles relaxing and by fibrolithic and trophic effect. Analgesia - The analgesic effect is due to warm and probably even to a direct action of ultrasounds on sensorial nerves terminations. The relaxation of contracted muscles - This is connected to rmic effect and micro-massage of tissues caused by passing of ultrasounds. Fibrolithic action - Oscillations in particles of tissues, produced by ultrasounds, determine division of collagen fibers of fibrous or sclerosed tissues. Trophic effect - The dilatation of vases, that follows increase in warm, favors elimination of catabolites and brings to tissues nourishing substances and oxygen; so ultrasounds improve trophism of tissues and facilitate reparation of tissue damages and accelerate resolution of inflammatory processes. For se reasons, ultrasounds rapy find a specific application field in following diseases: Tendinitis Bursitis Capsulitis Arthrosis Organized hematomas and healing tissues Muscles contractures 15-70

FREQUENT QUESTIONS ABOUT ULTRASOUNDS How works cavitation in tissues? it is a physical phenomena that happens when some gas bubbles are generated in a fluid. Ultrasounds waves in low frequency create gas bubbles, breaking microbubbles with following implosion of se ones and immediate disaggregation of adiposities with following liberation of fats. When can ultrasounds be used? Ultrasound can be used in every part of day in order to fight against cellulitis imperfections, but also as prevention and maintenance of results. in order to have a better metabolism we suggest to treat interested areas in first day, in fact re is a lower quantity of cortisol circulating (stress hormone). Is it used only to fight against cellulitis? No, it is a against localized adiposity, it helps in eliminating liquids in excess, it stretches out wrinkles and smooths skin. Can ultrasounds cause damages, if used often? They don't cause any damages if used properly. We advise to follow handbook and not to exaggerate with number of sessions. Do I have I to apply cream or gel on head of maniple every time I use device? yes, put enough cream or gel for on whole interested area. This favors transmission between head and skin, and on or hand it favors even adherence, sliding and elimination of possible air between skin and head (this air could obstacle transmission of ultrasounds). Can I have sessions on varicose veins? No, you cannot. We contraindicate any treatment in case of serious vascular problems. I have a pacemaker, can I use ultrasounds? No, you cannot. The use of any electronic device is contraindicate in case of cardiac stimulators or electrodes installed under skin. it is advisable to contact a doctor. Can I have sessions on lower part of abdomen? These treatments are absolutely contraindicate in case of pregnancy. Do I have always to apply gel between treating head and skin? yes, and it is necessary to put enough gel on whole interested area, orwise ultrasounds are not transmitted and treating head could get too much warm, it could not explicate its effect and - last but not least - it could create troubles on skin. On or hand, if you put too much gel, benefic effect of rapy is reduced

CELLULITE Cellulite is a phenomenon with complicated pathological aspects, its origin is influenced by manifold factors of notable subjective relevance. Cellulite is a trouble of hypodermis, a tissue that is located under dermis and mainly with adipose features. The areas interested by cellulite are gluteus, thighs, knees, ankles; more rarely abdomen and upper limbs. The imperfection is due to an inflammation of tissues that leads to transudation of fluids in intercellular spaces. The first damage is at level of capillaries, that for different causes, as stress, constipation, hereditary factors, smoke, sedentary life, abuse of medicines, hormonal causes, but most of all wrong eating habits, y lose ir tone causing a slowdown of blood flow particularly visible in lower limbs. Cellulite is caused by degeneration of micro-circulation of adipose tissue with consequent alteration of its important metabolic functions. The degeneration is defined as lipodystrophy, that is alteration of district characteristics of fat. TYPES OF CELLULITE Nowadays it is possible, thank to rmographic examinations, to follow evolution of substrate of cellulite. Cellulite can be divided into three growth phases: COMPACT CELLULITE (HEAVY) it attacks prevalent people in good physical form and with tonic muscles. Generally it attacks obese people or people who are a little bit fatter than normally, but it can appears also in thin people. The most affected area often aches and in skin appear stretch marks, it localize on knees, thighs and buttocks. FLABBY CELLULITE (SOFT) it appears especially in half aged people with hypotonic tissue, or in people who vary weight in a un equilibrated way. The passage between laying down and standing up shows its fluctuation; it localize internal thighs and arms. SWOLLEN CELLULITE it appears along with compact one, especially on legs, and represents consequence of circulatory diseases characterized by a heavy stagnation of liquids in tissues. it aches when touched and, sometimes, even while walking

CELLULITEÊS CAUSES At origin of cellulite re is an ensemble of factors: genetic, constitutional, hormonal and vascular, and se are often made stronger by a sedentary life, stress, hepatic diseases, wrong diets, intestinal disease (constipation) or by diseases characterized by a heavy water retention. Heredity it exists a familiar predisposition connected to genetic factors, to a mayor hormonal sensibility and to a certain capillary fragility, at origin of cellulite. Hormonal factors The action of ovarian, pituitary and thyroid hormones is fundamental. Stress Frenetic life, toger with bad habits such as abuse of smoke and coffee, physical and psychic exaggerate tire, few night sleeping, are all conditions that, connecting to or factors, contribute in determining appearance of cellulite. Shoes and clos The use of unsuitable shoes or too high heels, constrict foot in an unnatural position, determining an overload on forefoot; shoes with a too narrow and rigid tip can deform foot. so by passing of time cellulite bearings at level of ankles and cellulite on calf. Too narrow clos cause problems. Narrow underwear obstacles lymphatic and blood circulation. All clos with a narrow and rigid border on start of leg limb are factors of appearance of an inguinal flabby cellulite and of thigh cellulite

ORANGE PEEL The "orange-peel skin" appears when skin in certain areas of body shows and aspect like peel of this fruit. Essentially, this is due to alteration between forming- and expulsion system of fat of body. Now an accumulation of fat subcutaneous tissue is creating, and it usually accumulates in various stratus of skin, forming little lumps that give skin an aspect like orange peel. machine Connect throughout ORANGE PEEL Prg. 14 Power: PWR 70% ROUGH SKIN ROUGH SKIN Prg. 15 Power: PWR 60% 63-70

STRETCH MARKS stretch marks are skin imperfections, generally y affect mostly women. They are identified as streaks of white or reddish color, similar to scars. red stretch marks are those just formed, while those white are dated. When stretch marks are red it is simpler to treat m as when y are white interventions are often inefficient because tissues aren t able to recover ir initial tone. The causes that lead to ir creation are findable in reasons linked to obesity, pregnancy, excessive loss of weight, use of drugs, genetic causes. in any case, stretch marks are formed because skin, when body volume increases, suffers an high tension and does not have time to readjust itself in order to return toned. They can appear in women of each age, also if y are more frequently findable in women between 15 and 30 years old. The poor elasticity of skin can be helped with hydrating substances that help ir nutrition. in past, it was suggested to pregnant women to use some olive oil in order to massage abdomen. Men, even if affected in a minor way, can be affected by this imperfection most of all after a diet. machine Connect throughout STRETCH MARKS Prg. 18 Power: PWR 60% The recommended duration of treatment is already ed. 66 ULTRALIPOLYSIS Ultralipolysis acts on tissues by moving stagnant liquids and promoting elimination through digestion ducts (kidneys and bladder). The most evident effect of ultra lipolytic treatment is reduction in volume of treated areas visually verifiable with measuring even after first sessions. The reduction of volume is linked to lysis of adipocytes, verifiable also with histological examinations, but also with elimination of liquids through kidneys. The increase of diuresis is immediate and it is checkable often as an uncontrollable need, already at end of first session. machine Connect throughout ULTRALIPOLYSIS Prg. 19 Time: 12 minutes Power: PWR 70% The recommended duration of treatment is already ed.
