1 Eastern Bodywork & Neuromuscular Sports Injury and Medicine Massage Therapy Explained LA#8419 You Can Experience Ease of Movement Once Again! Call Today for your appointment! Higher Purpose Healing 1 (504) How Problems Develop: As we go through life, we experience bumps, sprains, accidents, surgeries and other traumas which cause soft tissue damage. Many soft tissue damages do not show on x-rays or other imaging modalities and therefore go untreated after the injury/surgery. Soft tissue damages heal and form scar tissue which commonly results in pain, inflammatory conditions, and restricted range of motion. Muscle-scar problems may not show up immediately and can show up weeks or even months after
2 they occur. These problems are not always resolved by drugs and/or exercise. Many common problems such as knee pain, back pain, neck and shoulder pain, migraines, arm or wrist pain and other aches/pain can be traced directly to these muscle tissue problems. There is a solution! Therapeutic bodywork goes to the source of the problem: the overlycontracted muscles and entrapped nerves which produce pain during movement. By releasing muscle contractions or knots, blood flow and nerve impulses can return to their proper working condition enabling the body to release the pain and regain its range of motion and proper functioning and release the patterns of limited and painful movement. Therapeutic bodywork is non-surgical, treats pain at its source, and can return mobility and painless ease of movement to most people. How We Help. We do an assessment, postural analysis and structural balancing of each client s body. According to each client s situation, techniques are selected from a variety of therapeutic bodywork and massage modalities to target the muscle/pain problem(s) and thus reduce pain and increase ease of movement. All therapeutic bodywork is done with clients being fully clothed. Clients are asked to wear loose regular street clothes. Therapeutic bodywork sessions are by appointment only. Hours are Monday through Saturday 7am until 7pm. Clients are asked to give up to 48 hour notice for cancellations.
3 What Can I Expect?...
