GSK Medicine: e Study Number: RH01690 Title: Panadol oteo PBS claim cohort tudy report Rationale: Comparion of the ue of e para with tandard doe para in a cohort of 10% ample of Autralian conceional patient with oteoarthriti (OA) Study Period: 1 Jan Dec 2010 Objective: To compare the ue of e para with tandard para 500 mg X in a cohort of Autralian conceional patient with OA, to ae difference in precribing pattern and patient compliance Indication: Oteoarthriti Study Invetigator/Center: There were no invetigator center Reearch Method: A long-term conceional cohort from the Medicare Autralia PBS claim dataet for the time period (4 year) wa ued. Epiode of treatment for OA were identified uing para ( e or ) for the period January December 2010 (2 year) to allow 1 year retropective and 1 year propective for all patient elected. Data Source: Medicare Autralia PBS claim dataet Study Deign: Participant uffering from OA who received e or, from 1 Jan Dec 2010 were elected. New uer (no hitory of OA para in previou 12 month) were eparated from previou uer (hitory of OA para in previou 12 month). Dipened precription were followed for 12 month propectively and 12 month retropectively.
