Those techniques emphasize the change of the function of psychological events which allow the existence of negative experiences while free from their influence so as to help clients face emotion and impulse as well as control external behavior or alter the understanding of and reaction to negative thoughts. Past researches have proved the effectiveness of psychological acceptance techniques and acceptance -based therapies. In addition the attitude of acceptance of negative experience in daily life seemed to lead to better mental health outcome. Future research should do further exploration of the effectiveness of psychological acceptance techniques on certain diseases the comparison with traditional therapies and the combination of acceptance techniques and change techniques.
