Full course description During the course the neuropsychological prile various neuropsychiatric disorders will be discussed. Given the current state knowledge the following topics will be reviewed: - Etiology cognitive deficits in various neuropsychiatric disorders - Relationship between cognitive deficits and psychopathological symptoms observed in patients - Impact cognitive deficits on functional outcome and quality life patients - Cognitive remediation in neuropsychiatric disorders During the classes and as a coursework students will also have to work with case studies real patients taken from the clinical work lecturer. 5 Assessment methods and criteria Final grade is associated with total number points scored during the semester. Points are awarded during the classes for topic-related activity which is scored during each class (14 x 0-2 pts) and short tests which will cover the material in the prerequisite readings at the beginning 10 topics (topics 2 11). Additionally, each student is obliged to prepare at least one out two case studies which will be given at the beginning topics 6 and 11 (two weeks for each case to be prepared) and will require to combine clinical and neuropsychological knowledge to analyze the prile symptoms and test results in patients with neuropsychiatric disorders. Casess will be scored from 0 to 20 pts. Students must respect the principles academic integrity.
