Clariant is one of the world s leading suppliers of water-soluble polyalkylene glycols (PAGs) as thickening agents/base lubricants for HFC, HFC-E and HFD formulations and polyol esters/phosphoric acid esters for HFD-U formulations and HFA-components. The appropriate biocide is essential to control the presence of micro-organisms and the formation of biofilms in order to maintain the performance and lifetime of the fluid.
