3 1. ACQUASSIMO Development Background Even in the years of modern society to live in the 21st century, human life is threatened by various viral and bacterial. In particular, bird flu and swine flu have become a major problem in each country of Asia in recent years and they have caused social turmoil and massive economic damage. However, alcohol disinfection, disinfectants and mainly composed of sodium hypochlorite Disinfection to prevent the spread of infection of these viruses and bacteria have shown limited scope for sterilization efficacy of fungicides and also the products have harmful Ingredients (sodium hypochlorite: Lux meter, carcinogens) which causes adverse effect. 15 12. Japan ACQUASSIMO Acquassimo line-up Baby general Pet Use case of obstetrician in Japan Our hospital uses Acquassimo for infection prophylaxis. Installing ultrasonic atomizer in reception counter, examination room, nursery, nurses station, LDR (delivery room), we use Acquassimo like wetting cotton in treatment of neonatal. Also we use for baby bottles and nipples. Until now, we soaked in sodium hypochlorite disinfection liquid, but Acquassimo is enough by spray, so it is very easy to use. Also, Acquassimo is very effective in variety viruses and bacteria without toxic effects. I think that Acquassimo can be used, not just for health care facilities like our hospitals, but also for field of a variety of occupations. Also think that there is a significant effect because nosocomial infection (e.g. influenza) are not generated even once.
