Section B Draft(s) presented for an opinion B.01 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Decision on the evolution of animal diseases in the Union. Forslaget drejer sig om formel vedtagelse af en restriktionszone omkring fundene af ASF i vildsvin i det sydlige Belgien. B.02 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Decision on the financing of the Union contribution to the European Union reference laboratories and the European Union reference centres for 2019 and Udsat. 2

3 B.03 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Decision amending Annexes I and II to Decision 2003/467/EC as regards the declaration of certain regions of Italy as officially tuberculosis-free and officially brucellosis-free in relation to bovine herds. The draft was presented, and not voted, at the Committee meeting 13 July. Forslaget drejer sig om godkendelse af nogle nye områder i Italien, der nu er blevet deklareret fri for TB. B.04 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Decision concerning certain protective measures relating to African swine fever in Bulgaria. Forslaget drejer sig om formel godkendelse af visse beskyttelsesforanstaltninger med hensyn til ASF. Bulgarien har selv indført en 10 km beskyttelseszone og en 20 km overvågningszone. Forslaget har vist, at der kun synes at være tale om et enkeltstående udbrud, hvorfor restriktionszonerne vil blive reduceret i forhold til de først introducerede restriktioner. B.05 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Decision amending the Annex to Implementing Decision 2014/709/EU concerning animal health control measures relating to African swine fever in certain Member States. (SF) Forslaget drejer sig om justering af restriktionszonerne i de ASF afficerede lande i henhold til den seneste udvikling. Section C Draft(s) presented for discussion C.01 Exchange of views of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Regulation on the application of certain disease prevention and control rules to categories of listed diseases and establishing a list of species and groups of species posing a considerable risk for the spread of those listed diseases. A.02 Outcome of the safeguard cell in relation to the shortcomings identified during an audit in India (from 16 to 27 April 2018) on the evaluation of the control of residues and contaminants in live animals and animal products including controls on veterinary medicinal products. (SC/EBI) Section B Draft(s) presented for an opinion B.01 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Decision on the evolution of animal diseases in third countries. B.02 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Regulation amending Annex III of Regulation (EU) No 206/2009 as regards information to be provided in the posters to travellers and to the general public. 5 This implementing regulation amends Regulation (EU) No 206/2009 which contains the conditions for the introduction into the Union of personal consignments of products of animal origin. Regulation (EU) 206/2009 includes the obligation for the competent authorities and transport operators to inform passengers and the general public about those conditions and in particular the prohibition to introduce milk and meat and their products from Third Countries to limit possible animal health risks. Der er udarbejdet nye posters til information om, at man ikke må importere fødevarer fra 3. lande. Kommissionen vil lægge nogle elektroniske skabeloner på deres hjemmeside, så myndighederne kan printe dem i den størrelse man ønsker. B.03 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Regulation amending Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 798/2008 as regards the entries for Canada, Russia and the United States in the list of third countries, territories, zones and compartments from which certain poultry commodities may be imported into or transit through the Union in relation to highly pathogenic avian influenza. (EV) Forslaget drejer sig om justering af bilaget til Forordning 798/2008 for en række lande i relation til tidligere udbrud af AI. Restriktioner for USA og Canada bliver ophævet. B.04 Exchange of views and possible opinion of the Committee on a draft Commission Implementing Decision amending Annexes I and II of Decision 2006/766/EC establishing the list of third countries and territories from which imports of bivalve molluscs, echinoderms, tunicates, marine gastropods for human consumption are permitted, as regards the bivalve molluscs that are permitted from Peru and adding aquaculture products and all types of fishery products (not only frozen ones) from Myanmar to that list from which imports are permitted of fishery products for human consumption. (SC) The draft Commission Implementing Decision is a regular update amending Decision 2006/766/EC which establishes the list of third countries from which import into the EU of bivalve molluscs for human consumption are permitted. Peru was listed only for frozen or processed bivalve molluscs, echinoderms, tunicates and marine gastropods. However, certain restrictions were introduced by Commission Decision 2008/866/EC on 12 November 2008 as emergency measures. The proposed amendment makes permanent the temporary (i.e. until 30 November 2018) derogation allowing import of eviscerated Pectinidae (scallops) of aquaculture origin from Peru, and discontinues the possibility of importing processed bivalve molluscs from Peru. 5

6 Myanmar was already listed in Annex II to that Decision for imports of wild caught frozen fishery products for human consumption. The draft Commission Implementing Decision adds to Decision 2006/766 the exports of aquaculture products and all types of fishery products (not only frozen ones) from Myanmar which are not authorised to date. The two audits (including follow-up) conducted by the Commission respectively in November 2016 and in March 2018 were satisfactory and concluded that the production of all fishery products is in compliance with EU import requirements. In addition, the residue monitoring programmes submitted by Myanmar in 2017 and 2018 were approved by the Commission. Forslaget drejer sig om vedtagelse af krav om at Peru kun må eksportere affskallede kammuslinger, og at Myanmar har fået godkendt et fremsendt moniteringsprogram for restkoncentrationer. 6
