It is located in Paris. The CIDB s role is to «help fight noise pollution and search for a quality soundscape favouring the social, mental and physical well-being of our population»

9 CIDB : THE NATIONAL NOISE INFORMATION CENTER CIDB manages the Club Decibel Cities The decibel Cities Club, created in 2012, assists regional and local authorities willing to implement actions in the area of sound environment. The Club supports their dynamics by providing them with services and fostering mutual exchanges. The Club membership is a recognition for the quality of life in a city. In 2016, 350 cities have joined the Club.
