Certified as personal protective equipment (PPE) CT-ClipCom enables flawless communication, complies with EU directive -2 and is approved for use as personal protective equipment. Depending on requirements, either a disc-shaped earplug offering excellent wearer comfort or an adapter molded from medical-grade silicone to match an individual ear form can be used. Each variant can be simply clipped on (see picture above), making the communications system personnel-independent. If personnel change, only the earplug or ear adapter needs to be swapped out (also relevant in terms of good hygiene). This means that it is not necessary to purchase a complete personal system for each team member. Equipment-independent CT-ClipCom is equipment-independent, as it is not permanently attached to protective equipment or headgear and doesn t hinder their use. CT-ClipCom EarMike is also an outstanding choice for use with heavy respiratory equipment, since voice is picked up in the auditory canal, thus avoiding any transmission of interference noise. Optimum wearer comfort: Shore hardness of 40 All individual ear adapters from CeoTronics are manufactured from soft, medical-grade silicone with a Shore hardness of 40. This degree of hardness - named after Albert Shore - has proven its worth, since it offers superior durability, excellent wearer comfort and user-friendly cleaning options. As another advantage, it also prevents uncomfortable hardening of auditory canal cartilage, unlike ear adapters made from hard plastic materials.
