9 New TePe PlaqSearch PlaqSearch is a two-tone disclosing product to visualise plaque, colouring new plaque red and old plaque blue. It clearly shows the areas that need extra care. PlaqSearch is used at the dental practice for patient instruction and as an educational tool for teaching proper brushing. It is also convenient to use at home for self-assessed control and improved oral hygiene routines. PlaqSearch is available as chewing tablets for use at the dental practice and at home, as well as a disclosing solution for professional use. Drip the solution into a dappen dish. 11 TePe Interdental Brushes Use of interdental brushes has shown to be the most efficient way to remove plaque between the teeth. TePe s brushes are developed in collaboration with dental professionals to certify the highest efficiency, comfort and quality. It has an angled brush head for easier access, especially between the posterior teeth and from the palatal and lingual sides. The long and flat handle offers a stable and ergonomic grip. TePe Angle is a good choice for those who prefer a longer handle or when dexterity is reduced. 16 Accessories 3 1 Practice Box Ideal for keeping TePe s interdental brushes within easy reach at the dental practice. Useful when trying out the correct size and instructing the patient. It can be filled with brushes from the multi-pack. A useful information chart with brush sizes is included. The practice box for original and extra soft brushes has eight removable cases and the TePe Angle box has four cases. 18 TePe Gingival Gel This antibacterial gel combines the advantages of chlorhexidine and fluoride for double protection of gums and teeth. Chlorhexidine has an antiplaque and antigingivitis effect, while fluoride prevents caries and protects sensitive root surfaces. TePe Gingival Gel is developed in collaboration with dental expertise and is carefully evaluated to offer maximum effect at minimum risk. It contains no abrasives and no alcohol. 35 Tradition and innovation since 1965 TePe s unique history began in 1965, when woodcarver Henning Eklund developed a new kind of dental stick together with professors at the School of Dentistry in Malmö, Sweden.
