3 The ecab Cryosauna The new whole body cryosauna ecab by WETEGE MEDICAL SYSTEMS combines the numerous health-promoting treatment effects of a Whole Body Cryotherapy with extremely safe, simple and economical technology. Due to the purely electrical drive the operating costs are very low. Precise sensors and an innovative controller ensure the highest level of treatment safety. The cold chambers can be operated innovatively via an app, which makes it easy to monitor the functions and the temperature within the cryosauna at any time. Whole Body Cryotherapies are already the newest trend among the stars, internationally known personalities such as Jennifer Aniston, Daniel Craig or Demi Moore have already discovered the Cryosauna. For top professional athletes such as Christiano Ronaldo and Michael Phelps, the new form of cold therapy is an integral part of the training program. In only 3 minutes of treatment, the body is activated by the intense cold on various levels. 4 Functioning and application of the ecab The ecab R1 is a 2,45 meter high and 1,90 meter wide cryosauna for one to two persons. During the treatment for about 2-3 minutes the whole body is exposed to a cold of -85 C. The ecab R2 & ecab R3 are 2,80 meter high and 4,40 meter (R2) or 6,20 Meter (R3) wide cold chambers for up to four persones. They consist of a two- or three-room system. During the treatment for about 2-3 minutes the whole body is exposed to a cold of -10 C / -60 C in the anteroom and up to -110 C in the therapy room. High-performance compressors generate the cold within the ecab by electrically cooled ambient air. The strong cooled air loses its moisture and is therefore extremely dry, which makes the Whole Body Cryotherapy with the ecab very well-tolerated. This pleasant climate in the cold chambers is provided by automatic ventilation. Each chamber also has its own defrosting device. By the heat recovery, the waste heat of the whole body cryosauna can be effectively reduced for e.g. the heating of swimming pools. The number of applications depends on the personal goals and motivations of the patient. During the treatment, the patient wears socks, shoes, gloves, possibly a mask and a bathing suit or a bikini. Jewelry and piercings are filed by the patient before treatment. Athletes like to link the treatment in the whole body cryosauna with their training sessions. Before training, the cold helps the athlete to become more efficient. After a treatment session, the ecab supports the regeneration and the inflammation and pain reduction. For diet support or for cellulite treatment we recommend one application a day or every second day until reaching the target. After 2-3 months, the treatment intervals can be significantly reduced. Patients who are suffering from chronic pain or skin diseases should use the ecab once or twice a day for a period of 1 to 2 months. Particularly in case of diseases such as rheumatism, psoriasis or migraine, an intensive cure phase of 20 to 40 sessions is recommended. Once the target has been reached, the treatment intervals can be significantly reduced.
