This disorder ofen does no respond o medical reamens. The aim of his sudy was o evaluae he herapeuic resuls of uniporal sympahecomy. Maerials and Mehods: In his rerospecive sudy, all paiens wih severe hyperhidrosis ha were operaed by uniporal or muliporal endoscopic sympahecomy from 2010 unil he end of 2011 were compared regarding demographic variables, admission duraion, rae of recovery and complicaions. Resuls: In 9 cases from he uniporal group (45%) and 10 cases from he muliporal group (50%), a bilaeral procedure was performed in one session. Mean age, gender, marial saus and locaion of sympoms were no significanly differen beween he groups. Mean admission duraion in uniporal and muliporal groups was no significanly differen. Recovery rae was 100% in boh groups. The prevalence of hemaoma and hemohorax was zero in boh groups. The prevalence of pneumohorax in uniporal and muliporal groups was no significanly differen (=0.629). Conclusion: Therapeuic resuls and complicaions are no differen in uniporal and muliporal mehods of horacic sympahecomy for reamen of hyperhidrosis. Therefore, based on he beer cosmeic resuls of he uniporal mehod, i is suggesed as an alernaive o he muliiporal procedure.
