78 Conclusions 1. Sedentary behaviour is an important and extremely prevalent risk factor for chronic disease in both children and adults 2. Sedentary time can be reduced using relatively simple and inexpensive interventions 3. Reductions in sedentary time are likely to result in reduced risk for multiple chronic diseases
