1 ELFIT 2016 Elite Teams Qualifier WODs Standards Workout Relay for time Each team will have 12 Minutes to complete 3 rounds in a relay style of the following: 21- Clean & Jerk 15- Thrusters 9- Snatches Time Cap: 12 Min. Bar Total Weight: (135/85 LB - 60/40 KG) Workout description: The workout starts with the Barbell on the floor and the starting athlete is standing tall in front of it, At the call of 3,2,1 go the first athlete will start the first round of 21 Clean &Jerks, and at 135 LB for males and 85 LBs for females, each member of the team must finish the whole round before the next member can start. Team score is time needed to complete the workout, for each rep not completed an extra second is added to the time cap. A clear tap when switching athletes should be visible and clear for the reps to count.

2 The Movement Standards Clean & Jerk: This is a standard clean and jerk the bar goes from the ground to the shoulder, then to overhead. The barbell begins on the ground. Touch and go is permitted. No bouncing is allowed. When the bar is over head elbows should be locked out and in line with the shoulders hips knees and heels for the rep to count. Squat cleans, power cleans, and push jerks, power jerks and split jerks are permitted.

3 Thrusters: The barbell moves from the bottom of a front squat to full lockout overhead in one motion. No jerks allowed. The bar starts on the ground. No racks allowed. The hip crease must pass below the knees. A full squat clean into the thruster is allowed in the first rep. Using a ball, box or other object to check for proper depth is not allowed.

4 Snatch: The barbell starts on the ground and goes overhead in one motion. The overhead position is when knees and hips are fully extended, arms are locked out overhead and the bar is over or behind the heels. Make sure to come to full extension on every rep. Power snatches and Squat Snatches are allowed. Note: All team members as well as the judge and the timer should be in the video the entire time of the workout

5 Online Submission Guidelines Teams Online Submission Guidelines All Teams will have to complete the workouts, submit their scores online and upload a video for each workout before the announced deadline to have their results validated by ELFIT team in order to be ranked on the Elite Teams qualifiers Leaderboard. The teams 3 qualifier workouts will be released on the 23rd of August Deadline to submit the 3 workouts score online on the 6th of September 2016 at 23:59 GMT, once the deadline has passed athletes/teams will not be able to adjust or re-submit any score for that competition. General Guidelines Teams must have their score validated by performing all workouts under the observation of a CrossFit Level 1 trainer AND by submitting a valid video with their score submission. All submission videos must clearly show the teams Judge throughout the workout. Videos submitted without a Judge will be invalid. Videos must be uploaded on a public platform (i.e. Youtube), Teams will be asked to provide the link to the video when needed. It is the sole responsibility of the Team to ensure the timely and successful submission of videos for each workout. Submissions that are incomplete will not be accepted. Any team that feels that their video submission may be delayed due to issues with uploading videos should send an to support@elfiteg.com notifying ELFIT team of these difficulties. ELFIT team must receive this notification PRIOR to the category submission deadline announced. Once deadline closes teams will not be able to adjust or resubmit any score for that competition. Score validation for any online video submission is the sole right of ELFIT Judging team the video will be reviewed and scored by ELFIT judging staff. As part of this video review process, the team s posted score may be accepted, modified or invalidated without warning and after the close of the competition. Before starting each workout, the Team must do the following: State the Team members names, Judge name, & Category All equipment used must be clearly displayed and measured (Weights, Box, Wall- Ball Height, ETC.) During each Workout, make sure that: Athletes & Judge are ALWAYS in frame. The timer must be in clear sight at all times throughout the video. (a tablet can be used)

6 Video must be taken from an angle that shows full profile of athlete to ensure that full motion standards are met. Videos CAN T BE EDITED in any way. Extra Tips: Set up a camera fully charged or plugged in, and place it on a table surface or a tripod if available. Make sure the camera has enough space; uploading large video files can take a big space. If you re using a phone, make sure its on airplane mode to avoid any interruptions during filming. Ideally you should set it up in a 45 degree angle to the workout area and the athlete, so that motion standards are clearly visible. ( Pull-ups, Box jumps, KB Swings, Barbell movements) Block off the area you re working in so nobody can block the view on your performance. Youtube allows uploads longer than 15 minutes. Check out this link: support.google.com/youtube/answer/71673?hl=en SCORING PENALTIES Prior to submitting a video, athletes should review the video to ensure their reps meet the required standards, the camera angle permits the judge to determine if the movement standards are being met or not and determine if there are any technical problems with the video itself. Videos that show a discrepancy between the score submitted and the score displayed in the video will undergo the following penalties: If it s a For Time Workout: Every no rep that is counted will add fiveseconds to the score. If it s an AMRAP Workout: Every no rep that is counted will be deducted from the score. If more than five no reps are counted within a workout, the score will be invalid and score zero.
